What is SEO?
SEO is a term used by digital marketers everywhere. SEO stands for Search Engine Optimization which can be defined as “the practice of increasing the quantity and quality of traffic to your site through organic search engine results” according to Moz.
2 Types of SEO
There are two types of SEO Topics which are Offsite SEO & Onsite SEO.
Offsite SEO is when you utilize outside components in order to rank higher and allow for more search traffic.
For example, if someone wrote a post for a blog or left a comment on someone else’s page, that would be considered an offsite promotion according to Neil Patel.

Onsite SEO is when you utilize components of your website in order to rank higher and allow for better relevant search traffic.
Typically, Onsite SEO accounts for 33% of Google’s code when it looks to rank your website for relevancy.
For example, if someone did a poor job with onsite seo within their website, it would most likely never get your website ranked.
